Born in Nagoya and now based in Hida-Takayama, Mihoko draws on her nine years in New York to connect cultures through meaningful experiences.

As a Table-Style Tea Ceremony instructor since 2018, she introduces Japan’s “comprehensive art form” while sharing its cultural and aesthetic depth. Her study of Buddhism further enriches her work, which now includes guiding visitors through the hidden gems of Hida-Takayama.
