Self-introduction

My name is Keiko, but please call me Kay.
I was born and raised in Takayama.

Before becoming a guide, I spent over 30 years woking at my family’s traditional Japanese inn. During that time, I welcomed around 3,500 guests each year, most of whom were international visitors.

I have two daughters and four grandchildren, so I always enjoy welcoming families with young children.

In my free time, I enjoy good food, cooking, and sewing.
During the tour, I’d be happy to introduce you to some local specialties and sweets.
